If you are planning to send your child to school this year, be sure to check out the rankings from KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority). This is an independent organisation that has been responsible for raising the quality of education to international standards since 2006.
KHDA inspects public schools every year and publishes their rankings on a five-point scale:
Outstanding - schools demonstrating the highest level of quality.
Very Good - the level to which all schools in Dubai should aspire.
Good - the minimum acceptable level.
Acceptable - schools that have not yet reached an acceptable level of quality in Dubai. Such schools are expected to take urgent action to improve.
Weak - Schools where measures to protect students are not justified.
This rating will help you make an informed choice and ensure that your child receives a quality education that meets international standards.
