Founded in 1997, Emaar Properties PJSC is an international development company based in the United Arab Emirates and operating in 36 markets worldwide. The company provides property management services in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East.

Emaar Properties was owned by the Dubai government until its public status in 2000. Today, the company owns six business segments and 60 subsidiaries, including Emaar Malls Group, Emaar International, Emaar Hospitality Group, Emaar Entertainment and Emaar Investment Holding. One of the company's most famous projects was the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, 828 meters tall and 160 floors.
