Project history: construction began in 2008, with Emaar Properties and Dubai Holding as the original developers. Since 2022, the project has been fully managed by Emaar.

Location: The neighbourhood is located between Dubai Creek and Ras Al Khor Road, next to the Pink Flamingo Sanctuary.

Transport accessibility: 5 minutes to Festival City, 10 minutes to OXW airport, 15 minutes to Burj Khalifa. The area has a well-developed transport system including water taxis, metro and buses. A blue metro line station is scheduled to open in 2029.

Neighbourhood Structure: Creek Island is a ‘vertical’ cluster with high-rise buildings (30 to 55 storeys). It has 4 kilometres of shoreline, a yacht club, Central Park, The Viewing Point and other facilities.

Creek Beach: is a lower-rise (up to 10 floors) buildings in a modern Arabian style. This part has 700 metres of beach, a crystal lagoon and canal views.

Green areas: the parks are 500,000 m2 and the sports and recreation areas are 6,000 m2.

Commercial and cultural infrastructure: 900,000 m2 of retail space, 65,000 m2 of cultural spaces, 300,000 m2 of office space, 20 hotels.
